How many of you end up choosing and buying a Christmas gift, that is supposed to be to you from a family member? And then have them wrap it and give it to you? Does your family know you well enough to find and buy what you really want without sending you out to get it? Or do they give up and take another option like giving you money instead?

I usually have to get my own presents. All i want is car stuff mostly, and i'm the only one in the family who knows what i'm looking at or talking about when it comes to that. They do try though!

I am afraid I am a bit sneaky. My hubby works away so I tell my daughter what I would like and when hubby asks for suggestions she tells him what I have said. Then when he asks her to get it I usually go buy it as I know exactly what I want then my daughter says she has got the gift, he wraps it and I get just the gift I want!

Good question, let's see. I've never choose and bought something for myself to be given to me by someone else in my family. Yes, so far, my family's been able to make good choices in buying gifts for me.
I sometimes get gift cards..... but I don't mind. Then I can pick what I want!

I have done this in the past. I am a real pain in the butt to buy for. I actually don't like to receive gifts, but my kids are like me and enjoy giving. I try to give them hints, but they never figure it out, so I get my new bottle of cologne every year. Maybe they are trying to give me hints...lol

I get a gift from mom, but that's about it.
The husband is not a gift giving kind of guy.

Usually they give me money or a gift card.But some do buy me thing's they no i like.
