Technicaly yes, mentaly No.

On the technical side, if the doctor has to get a smear by entering the vagina, then yes, if you have an intact hymen then the device he used to obtain the smear, will rupture the hymen.

You should probably only be getting a smear if your sexualy active, or if there may be a problem down there.

Mentaly, and spiritually loosing ones virginity is when a mans penis, enters a womans vagina for the first time. Usually this ruptures the hymen.

Some ladies don't have a hymen, or have a partial hymen. So it all depends. If you have a hymen then having a smear down will rupture it.

Good luck

*sigh*

Its as simple as this:

Virgin = No penis into vagina

Not a virgin = Penis into vagina.

NOTHING except a PENIS can make you lose your virginity.
