it would depend not only on how much money, but also on the kind of person. if there is no love, it is already a big compromise so you have to make up for it with other things. money is only one, but also the man would have to be not too old, not too ugly and hopefully a decent gentleman who is not too stupid and has a sense of humor... i mean you can marry a billionaire who would beat you up and rape you or do drugs... no one would stay in that marriage for longer than a few years. and you can also marry someone who has 3-4 millions, but a nice decent guy who genuinely wants to make you happy. I would choose the second one.
the question here is why do people do marry for the money... and that is where your answer going to be. well, usually to run away from poverty, to help parents and family, to travel or just to feel the glare of rich life. if you want to have the glare than you need someone really really rich and have to be a supermodel or just drop dead gorgeous. if you want to help out your family or run away form poverty - you can marry a man with an average income, that is a good example of women from Eastern-Europe or Asian poor countries.
I have to add that marrying for money can be a noble thing to do sometimes if what you are looking for is not diamonds, yachts etc, but a good future for your children or family.

Golddiggers galore.
You are thinking of money? Don't even marry, please. You will divorce the guy and clean him out.

You need $3Million to live comfortably for the rest of your life. So marry a guy with $6M and you get $3. Walk away. You are happy. He is miserable. Dont have baby because you are after his money, remember?

(Sounds cheap, doesn't it)?

I should because I've been royally screwed by being married to poor men in the past. But I still can't do it or strive for it. It doesn't feel right to marry for $$. I'm a sucker for love.

Without a prenup, and she'd need to have at least $10 Mil. That way I could walk away with $5 mil after a couple years.
