Failing that, get a PC competant friend round for coffee to help, one of these problems you really need to be at the pC to help with,
ie Remove ALL hardware except motherboard, CPU, Ram, video and BOOT hard drive, then add stuff back a piece at a time after testing it

Try this, go to download.com and search for a program called "crapcleaner" then run that on your system. It fixes errors and might help your situation.
