Moreover it's supporting Net connection thru USB(a Broadband one).Can it due to the fact that once i was transferring Pen drive data to my PC and suddenly power failure happened and since then Pen drive isn't being supported on my PC and for your information pen drive isn't corruptedand i am currently using Windows XP.

Try going into device manager,m and deleting all the USB root hubs and hubs,
Then restart windows it will redetect all the devices
After this plug in pendrive again, hopefully all will be back to normal . .

could possibly be the drive letter - right click on my computer and goto manage , select disk management and then right click on you pen (if its there) and change drive letter and path - then give it a new letter.

Maybe your pen drive is now corrupted.

If I were you my step one would be to test it on another computer. Then, the solutions above would make fulfilment.

Maybe you've disabled it from a place.Go to run,type services.msc and enable it
