About 90% of the laptops on the market have intergrated video adapters, which suck for gaming, the worst of them all are the intel graphic chips. The manufactures use these alot becaue 1 : They are cheap (about 7 bucks a chip ) and 2 : They are quite effecient and help with battery life. Unfortunately. being a laptop you are basically stuck with what you have in terms of video adapter. The video adapter cannot be upgraded. If you want to game on a laptop you'll have to pony up at least $1200-$3000 for a laptop with a real video card.

Sorry, that's the biggest area in need of improvement, in my opinion, for laptops - graphics cards.

Currently, you can NOT switch out the graphics card on a notebook. New notebooks now use ATI and NVidia notebook graphics technology, but you still can't go to the store and buy a card to change it in your laptop (hopefully, some day SOON??!! since I would like to upgrade mine as well!)

Sorry...

that sounds like one of the 'famous' Intel integrated graphic to me

sadly, the truth is u can't upgrade the graphic card of a laptop, so u'll ve to bear with it... i know how bad it is as i own a laptop with a Intel Graphic Media Accelerator 900 too

if u really can't withstand it, then just get urself a new laptop
