Marion Barry, the former Mayor of Washington, D.C. lost his job when he was seen on video smoking crack cocaine. The funniest part of that whole episode is when the flea markets in South Florida began selling T-shirts that portrayed manuel Noriega's Federal mugshot on the right side and Marion Barry's on the left, with the slogan below that said "Supply & Demand"

Marion Barry, democratic mayor of Washington DC, who not only got caught smoking crack and hanging with low lifes during the first term of mayor , then, got elected again after his disgrace (however crack was created by the white devil, so he is forgiven by the liberal community).
The best comment about Marion Barry was his vow to take cocaine off the streets of Washington, one "eight-ball", at a time.

Marion Barry is the democrat mayor of Washington D.C. His career is noteworthy for the fact it ended with his arrest on drug charges and that after he served his sentence he was again elected mayor. I don't believe he is the current mayor however.

Really cannot add much. He was mayor of DC and got busted and then came back and got elected again. Funny a felon could get elected, but i guess so up there. Interesting story and question. take care. I was wondering why the Secret Service arrested him?

The thing about my party that really ticks me off is the fact that they say that they are Conservative but some of them are as liberal as the people on the other side. If you are liberal say it if not don't do it. As far as the Republicans attacking please even the totally left MSNBC has found that Republicans were attacked more often than Democrats.

He represented and upheld their vision of both liberty and anarchy.

oh the man-crack-whore that was the mayor of DC. Not much to speak of. I think he was elected because of his ethnic appeal.
