I have a 15 page paper to write and i still have to do research for it before i start writing. it's due tuesday morning. i was in the library all day and took adherall and red bull to help keep me up and focused. problem was now i have been up all night with out any sleep, and i wasn't even working! i guess the adherall and red bull just kept me up (i rarely drink caffeine). so i still have all this work to do but am feeling kinda tired. should i just try and take a quick nap now? later? how much time should i allow for said nap? is there anything that will help me up and focused through the day again so i can get this done? help please :) thanks

Definitely* take a nap it may "welp" you a bit! Once you get awake then go full speed ahead! Think about starting a bit earlier next time! Perhaps your 15 page paper is on "procratination"!

Start writing now. Write maybe 5-8 pgs. Then take a nap. After your nap, (Nap time=4 hours) finish up, then go to sleep!

20-30 minute power nap followed by some crazy research and writing. I have come to realize that 15 pages isn't that difficult.

If you feel your mind is clear, work for one hour before you go to bed. If you have enough research for the beginning, write some of it. As you go you may see how to focus your research more. You can get bogged down in too much research. If your brain is feeling fuzzy, go ahead and go to sleep. Then hit it hard tomorrow. The Tuesday deadline should help you focus tomorrow.

Only hard work can get you out of this mess. Don't overload on sugar, you'll crash. Caffeine is only temporary. Eat small meals, snack on healthier choices, but keep your energy up by constantly eating something good for you. Junk food will give you quick energy but drag you down lower than you started. If you eat to big a meal you'll get sleepy.

Power naps are great. 20 mins. quiet room. set an alarm. hey presto you're refreshed!

I regularly have to do this as i run a pub so any spare time i have i power nap to feel refreshed for the rest of the day!!!

start working on it now, if you go to sleep now you'll crash for a bit. I've been there many times and I always say, "oh, I'll just take a little nap" then I'm out for hours.

Have a sound sleep for 4/5 hours.

you need to just get it finished so you don`t have to worry about it because when you take a nap and wake up you are not going to thinking about a project because you are going to be too stressed out. I say just do it and finish it.
