Are they still at college or university this week? Or do they have only 2 weeks off (next week and the following week)?

Thanks.

It depends on the school. I have friends that got out for break two weeks ago and others that finished the semester some time last week. Exams at my school go through this Saturday (the 22nd).

Most schools get a month off for break after exams, though, again, it does depend on the school. If they have a winter session that offers classes, it will often run six weeks instead.

So if you have a particular college in mind, try looking for that college's academic calendar in a search engine.

At my university, our final exams week ended on Dec. 14.

Some schools ended as early as the seventh, though.

The break between semesters is one month to three weeks long. Classes usually do not begin again until after the 1st of the year.

Every school is different. Go to the web site of the school that interests you and search for "academic calendar"
