Hi, so i am completely terrible with words and being creative. I am after a little rhyme to write in my parents christmas card that explains the gift i got for them. I will quickly tell you the basics about what i got them,

For their christmas present, instead of buying them another typical christmas gift, i signed up at Animals Asia Foundation on their behalf and purchased a pot of raisins, some toys and a pot of honey for the moon bears that have been rescued. The moon bears have been caged in really nasty farms and had legs cut off and rusty catheters embeded into their stomaches for up to 22years, so the farmers can drain their bile, etc.
The foundation that that rescues and treats them is the one that i brought the gifts off.
Sorry i am really hopeless at explaining things. Which is exactly why i need your help. I was after something simple and lighthearted, even a bit cheeky / funny, just explaining what their gift is.
Thanks so much guys, i really appreciate it

to make an animals day bright and sunny!

Thanks to you, I will never lose sight
Of the truly important things in life-
Things like warmth and love,
Grace and the simple joy of sharing,
Because you taught me to see with my heart.

The heart never forgets...
the things that matter most.
like your example that has given me
footsteps to follow.
That is why I have today tried brightening up
some lives on your behalf,
Just as I am grateful you have done all these years.

You're the best...
and I love you so much!

This year I thought that I would give
A gift to help poor animals live,
I love you both, but the sick bears need
Some help from careless people's greed.

So this Christmas, my greatest gift to you,
Is the love you taught me--it's deep and true.

I just crawled meself out of bed and turn on the computer, with a cup of coffee and this is my first read. So much for the coffee waking me up, you did it! Wow Ma! SLAM! Hit me hard you did! Good one! (they say shock therapy works, I am seeing why)
