Since voting for the best person went out the window decades ago. . .

Who do you think has the best chance out of the forerunners, Guiliani or Huckabee? And who do you think would ruin the US the least while keeping at least some of their promises? Or if there's a better candidate (with an actual shot) feel free tofill me in, Im torn on who to vote for as Guiliani seems to be poo-pooing around issues lately.

Please nothing snide or "yeay hilary or ron paul", im just looking for opinions on the Rep. in the lead currently. Thanks!

Well I know you said no Ron Paul answers, but he really is the only unevil candidate running. Just because the media is not reporting on him as much as Guiliani does not mean he doesn't have support or that he cannot win.

"Since voting for the best person went out the window decades ago"

What do you mean by this? We have some good candidates. Kucinich is good but does not have a chance but fortunately Obama has a very good chance and he is probably the best candidate to run for a long time. As for Republicans, Ron Paul is probably their best candidate. I believe Ron Paul and Guiliani have the better chance of being nominated than other Republican candidates.

Guillani, has not empress me since 911, he is old and trying to keep up with this new wife he dumped his family for, and there are question of money missing, I think he just not stable
as a President.as a President should be.
Others may see him different.I am sure he is a good politician. He just don't ring my bell.

Huckabee, is whom I have looked at from the first debate, I sure he has faults, also. he is Human, But I respect him, I think
he would have feeling as a President But as you know being just a good guy you got to know how too run the country also.
So I am keeping my ears open and researching Him. but we still have time. anything can happen at this point.

I also respect Mr John McCain very highly. and he knows what going on.

Mitt Romney has the money, he comes across as a very nice person,

I will know more after Super Tuesday, on how I will vote. thanks for the question.

I did not start in the Huckabee camp when all the debating started a few months ago, but I am there now. I feel like Huckabee would be the most likely to do what he says out of all the candidates. I do wish that he would be like most of the Dem candidates when it comes to rescending any executive orders that are non-constitutional.

After Huckabee I would pick Edwards.

i'm looking for the answer to that too. i just can't see a candidate running today that i want to see as president. and that goes for ALL candidates. some are obviously out, like clinton (only wants the power & to make history as 1st woman pres. will say and do whatever it takes to get it, and cares about nothing else.), edwards (professional candidate. has made a career out of running for pres. has done nothing for anyone, and changes his stand on issues to whatever will get him a vote.). too many others to go on & on about. but the real problem is there is so much turmoil in the world now and the u.s. is so hated, who can you trust to step in and handle it without making it worse? it's a huge responsibility and who has the experience or knowledge to become the "leader of the free world"? it puts a lot of pressure on the voters, for we will be responsible for the outcome, and have to live with the end result.

I would say Huckabee is the lesser evil. Guillani really scares me... I would never vote for either one of these guys....

I am for Huckabee. I was considering Guiliani, but I think that he will take away our gun ownership rights.

Evil is behind the money donated by special interest groups.

Duncan Hunter doesn't have the special interest behind him, so he owes nothing to them. His views are the best for our country but the media can't pick up anybody with good honest views.

I cannot support either one of these too liberals. Every single person who votes for the lesser of 2 evils effectively censors debate just to try and defeat the latest partisan threat. Rudy=Romny=Huckabee=Thompson=Mcain or Hillary or Obama or Edwards = George W Bush

The only Rep. I can vote for is Huckbee, I am a Dem. I have listened to both parties and he is the only one to make sense, but here you will call me a traitor if not him then Hillary. Everybody says they stand for this or that but Huckbee and Clinton are the only ones who are consistent.
