I mean it looks more like a media circus than concern for the world's problems, doesn't it? So why not just wing it on our own? Perhaps elect a middle class worker?

sml, you say our system is flawed, yet better than any other? How many systems have you experienced in your lifetime? Why are we being fed lies about change?

Unfortunately without a President this country would go to heck in a handbag!!!
The problem is the division of parties. It is finally time for both parties to come together and elect someone united that stands for both common means.
Both parties are flawed, but both also have good ideas. I've never been one to vote simply along party lines for the sake of the party. The parties are lost and running around in circles throwing arrows at one another. Neither party has made an attempt to "TRULY" face the issues that need to be faced before the election. This is truly the biggest circus I have ever seen.
I have opinions of several people, some good, some bad. But not ONE has stuck out clearly enough in my head to say...."hey that's what we need" and I think a lot of Americans are in the exact same boat.
We need unity. Dump the parties and let's start taking care of our country ourselves. We need to elect a President that deserves that capital "P". Not one who gets it simply out of respect!!!
We also need to bring "GOD" back to America!!!! God Bless America!!!!

It's the same every election. The mud-slinging, negative commercials, empty promises etc. I find myself voting for who I believe to be the lesser of the evils. I believe it was Nostradamus who predicted our nation would ultimately be destroyed from the inside....The question now is "When"? Hillary's got her fingers in some VERY bad pies and I have no doubt the rest of them do too.
I'd opt for "no pres." but we need some sort of leader, otherwise it will be chaos.
Let's just keep hoping for the best, hey?
God Bless and Merry Christmas!

It's much too early to be anywhere near that cynical! I'm now leaning toward Edwards/Obama. Not that I think that'll happen. The Dems never seem to know what's good for them. No political party has a better record of shooting themselves in the foot!

A middle class worker wouldn't have enough money to run for President lol, but I would vote for that.

I am no expert on Government, but I have often wondered if a Parliamentary form of Government would not serve US better. The Party which holds the majority, or the coalition which holds the majority, chooses the Prime Minister.

i know what you mean, it's all a big joke. i kind of liked brownback, but he dropped out because he couldn't afford the campaign. i really have no clue, as to who i will be voting for. i can tell you who i wont be voting for...Hillary or obama. i mean, what are people thinking, backing these candidates. i will just continue to pray on it, and watch them closely, and hopefully one will outshine all the dimwitts.

Semper, YOU ARE THE MAN!! Could it be that the disunity and incompetence of the political situation (on both sides) is having the effect of uniting all of us who aren't in politics? Time for a good man/woman to rise of with an "I" behind their name!

skipping doesn't solve ; it just puts the burden on someone other than me ; our system flawed as it may be is still better than anyone else; get involved, volunteer, vote ; do everything; nothing brings nothing
