Putting my 'trick question' hat on, I'd say it was the Ranger 8 Spaceship which crashed into the Sea of Tranquillity on the Moon on 20th February 1965. That 'ship' must be worth many millions of pounds, even now.

Dude, there are still over a dozen ships of the Spanish treasure fleet that haven't been found in the Florida area each with about a billion plus in gold onboard. You need to be more specific.

Yes - I think e_gined has the right idea "Ranger 8" -
I was thinking of the boats "Erebus" and "Terror", abandoned by Sir John Franklin in the NW Passage which isn't really a Sea though.
