Boyz in the Hood because without Boyz in the Hood, Menace II Society would not have existed. Boyz in the Hood put John Singleton on the map and it made people realize that there is a real problem in society: gang violence.

I liked the storyline better in Boyz as well as the actors.

Neither I think "Don't be a Menace" is waaaaaaaaaaay better (well it's funny as hell!!!)
