hehe I say this to my Mom all the time she goes off on a tangent and I have no patience I want to know the point hehehehe she adds to many details and it drives me crazy that i know has nothing to do with the point of why she is telling me the story in the first place hehehe

I think well if ur not gonna wait for what I have to say then, you will never hear it at all!
That's only because when I beat around the bush it is important stuff!

No one has ever said that to me though, I have very nice friends and family

Some people elaborate too much when telling a story.
"get to the point" would be cut the frills; use less adjectives and just tell what happened!

Basicallt that the person you are talking to doesn't want to hear anymore BS and just want to hear EXACTLY what you are trying to say.
