It's simply a phrase of encouragement to a team called The Bears.

For example, if China were to play Italy at football and I wanted China to win, I might say, "GO CHINA!!!"

If I was America I would also whoop and cheer after I said it, but as I'm British I'd not bother - probably just drink some tea and wear a bowler hat.... ;o)

Sounds like a NFL football game involving the Chicago Bears.Go Bears would indicate that the person is a fan of the Bears and would be encouraging them to win.

The Chicago Bears are an American Football team. The game they are talking about in the text is about the Bears.

Bears is in reference to the team the person hopes will win. "Go Bears" is a cheer. It should have an exclamation point after it, though.

Go Bears!

I think 'Bears' is probably the name of the sports team. By saying 'Go Bears' the person is expressing encouragement for the Bears. (It's an American English expression to use the word 'go' in that way)

bears is the team they want to win in the game they are talking about :)

so "go bears" is like saying "go on to win, bears" or "hope you win, bears"
