I'm not scared...I'm beginning to get annoyed, bordering on pissed. If you're referring to Nostradamus, if you pay close attention, most of his "predictions" are as a result of someone *fitting* what he says to an event. If they are that smart, why can't they figure out what he is saying and *prevent* an event. If you're talking about some of the other "doomsday" shows, most of them started with the global warming scare.

We live on a fragile planet and anything could happen at anytime, but these "doomsday" predictions and shows almost make you want to gather your family together conduct a mass suicide.

You should have lived through the early days of the Cold War. We had underground shelters full of food waiting for a hydrogen bomb. This isn't much different.

I don't think anybody can predict about the world and universe.

We may believe if any scientific evidence supports the prediction. In the absence of scientific data, it has no meaning and there is no reason to be scared.

I wish and hope that as usual there will be sun rising and setting after 2012.

Isn't it enough to have meetings of the type of Kyoto's that keep telling us that our world is going to break down if we don't take care of it because of all the pollution, trees cutting in forests, etc.? I already feel bad enough for that. And yes, that is frightening, but we should be careful both with international political relationships to avoid issues like Irak's war and also to see a natural disaster coming and try to make this situation last longer.

2012 is when the Mayan calender "rolls over" from one 5,000 year odd cycle to the next.....kinda like astrologers proclaimed the "Age of Aquarius" to start in 1960, and the Christian calender "rolled over" in 1999......which, if I remember was when the world was going to end.....

I'd be WAY more concerned with the targets of the Kyoto/Bali environment conferences.......40% less emissions than 30 years ago? Well, for starters, no one under 25 will ever be allowed to own a car......

hehe 2012 is a predication that many Jehovah Witnesses (cult)predict that the end of the world would come. They Were wrong a bunch of times Jesus said clearly no one knows the time when he shall return =)

I keep hearing it, but No, I am not scared cuz I don't believe it. 2012 is the end of the Mayan calender and being exploited by a lot of so called "soothsayers." They exploited Haley's Comet too...but the world didn't end as you know. It's always SUMTHING!

hes talking smoke. however, if the world comes to an end it will probably be nothing like it is described in the Bible. it will probably be with a huge asteroid hitting the earth and killing all human beings. if were all dead, but the earth continues to live, will it still be the end of the World?
