In the forum........none personal information.
There is so much pple that comes and goes everydays, and our common sense advices not to share our personal information with everyone.
But....as had happened in this category, many of us know and trust ourselves here, and we have shared almost all our information...outside this place, through mails or chat
We know now who we can trust, and for me it is fine.. I dont like that my personal address, or phone number, or even the place i work at, can be public information on net. I didnt write any information on my profile just for that
I give it only to the pple I know and I trust at.

While this forum is by definition somewhat unconventional; Nevertheless, it is to be considered a social gathering...at times, almost like a support group.
So, the questions are: (1) by your average social standards and etiquette;what limits would you set if we actually met in person? How comfortable are you with the group?
(2) Since 'most' of us have not nor will likely meet in person...do you feel the need to keep a certain mask on?
I believe it all comes down to how comfortable you are with the group....you can reveal as much as you want as long its within decent limits (meaning as long as you don't truly offend, insult or disrespect anyone directly).....
Common sense also plays into it.....meaning, do you want your real-world identity compromised...name,address,phone or contact numbers......

except real full name and address and company where u work references i think the rest i feel free to say and it's all up to each one whether to say or to hide coz i think we are all here helping ppl and seeking ppl's help and sharing our stories and knowledge so i can tell whatever i feel normal and not offending or emabarassing the other users ............sometimes it's good to tell some information about urself and so do ur contact or ppl in ur favourit category to feel involved and to feel that u have a family in yahoo
so when u ask a question they know the right answer u need to hear
i think

I think when you start to feel uneasy about sharing something with the others then this is where your draw the line.
