here is another of my poems.

One day a cat was walking to lose some fat.
it saw a bat on crack swinging a bat.
The bat was being swung by the bat watched by the cat.
The bat's crack was desired by the cat.
But not the fat, it was trying to lose that.
Both bats were actually bats, not bats.
The crack was sidewalk, not smack.
The fat lost the cat, before the cat lost the fat.

I have two cents to offer, and not much can be purchased with it.

With all due respect, if you're passionate enough, sacrifice will become an acceptable habit.

1 Cent. An OLD quote. "There is no Money in poetry; but then there is no Poetry in money either."

2nd Cent. I quote my Grandmother. "Writing may feed your heart and soul; but selling it will help feed your belly."

I'll throw in a "Tip"

I once wrote a short book, in a light hearted moment.
"101 ways to prepare and enjoy Peanut Butter"

I suspect no explanation should be needed.

I don't know what your day job is...but you better keep it, at least until you find another.......because I am so much better at poetry,,,here is mine::

The cat didn't see a bat,
cause he was doing crack,
but fat was lost by the cat,
because he was doing crack,

the bat found the fat,
but could not sale the crack,
so the crack killed the cat,
before the bat found the smack!

yeah, I know...I rock

i just quit my day job!!! Hater!!

LOL!!

umm humm well it was creative.
But you shoulde'nt give something that you like doing just because you're not all that great at it.
As long as you love doing it and it doesn't get in the way of the important stuff and U enjoy it who cares if it is bad or good!

Because if do something long enough eventually you will find a inspiration for ur writing!
and it will go from fish to steak <333

No. I won't do, unless i become a very renowned one. For teh time being continue your poetry as a pastime, not a full time job.

No, if you are thinking about making a living from your writing, you should do it as a side line until you can live comfortably form it, and this poem is not something that people would buy, sorry.

Are you a poet?
If so, I'd give up all hope.

That poem was darsh.
How old are you? 11?
