Assuming it's the Vauxhall standard system: There is no way to lock the car without setting the alarm. You will have to disconnect it. This has to be done with the ignition switched on or else the internal battery sounds the alarm till flat.
However there are 2 bits on the alarm, the door sensors, and the internal movement and anti jack(tilt) sensors. If you press both the interior light buttons as you get out (should start the alarm LED flashing) and then lock within 10 seconds the movement sensors &c. are disabled, leaving just the door switches live. Being mechanical those should be ok., though the car won't be quite as secure.
I had just this problem with my Astra and it was the tilt sensor, replaced fortunately under warranty. If it's a recent purchase take it back and make the dealer fix it as it's not fit for use

The car's under warranty, presuming it's a Vauxhall fit alarm, so go back to the dealers & get them to sort it out. Sounds like the sensitivity needs adjusting.

There's several ways but the real question is why it keeps going off? Does it go off straight away or does it take a while? It could be that the sensitivity of the motion sensor needs down tuning or perhaps the unit is completely faulty, officially I'd say return to the manufacturer unless you're technically minded, in which case, read the manual and adjust the motion sensor.

I am not suggesting that you are not the owner of the car but the handbook will give you the answer and so will the local Vauxhall Dealership.
