You can choose to keep it. I heard Marilyn Manson say in an interview that he still has his foreskin in a glass tube on his mantlepiece.

I once babysat a baby boy who had a botched circumcision. While removing the skin the doctor also took off the tip of his penis. I wonder what they did with that? The poor little thing looked messed up!

Most go in BIO Waste, but some go to Medical research companies and cosmetics companies who turn it in to skin care products.
An episode of Penn & Tellers BullSh!t covers this and circumcision and general. It is worth the watch if you get the chance.

A lot go to medical companies to make replacement skin for diabetics. Few take, but those that do make some 25,000 patches.
Some go into cosmetic products, and go towards making face cream, night cream and/or anti wrinkle creams.
Personally speaking, I don't really care. I had mine removed nine years ago. It's no longer attached to my penis, and to be quite honest, that's all I care about. If anyone wants to reclaim it for use anywhere else they're welcome to it, because I never wanted it for its original purpose. Sorry, I'm just not a foreskin boy...

I agree with Pinche. They usually say it goes to medical waste but actually they sell them and they are used for things like cosmetics. All without the consent of the parents...let alone the baby. Circumcision is a massive industry, doctors get a lot of money for the quick procedure, and then sell the foreskins. This is why it is still going and doctors are searching so hard for "health benefits".

A company called Magipurse uses them.
They make a handbag that when you rub it turns into a suitcase....
But what do I know (this is just the tip of things)
