No Reason to even think of break up? "After 2+ years, Are the Feelings There? Does he feel the Same?" Lots of ways to keep in touch. Snail-Mail, E-mail, Yahoo Chat, Discount Phone Cards Bought on-line or from almost anywhere. Yes I Know, It's "18 Months", After 10 or 12 it's going to Hurt But :)).
I Know, My Wife & I had a "Long Distance Relation" for 4 1/2 Years (2 Years After We Married) Apart before I could Move from the U.S to the Philippines! If the Feelings are there it will be OK! GOOD LUCK!!

Yes long distance relationships are very hard It can get lonely too, I dated someone 5 years many years ago he was in the service and got stationed else where for 3 years At first we missed each other desperately then as time slipped by us we changed and grew apart eventually we broke up i did go to see him twice but that was not long enough to sustain us
I always thought i couldn't live with out him but time apart showed me I can ..True love will always come back maybe at a later time but if you do not plan on going with him things may change and we just have to except it and try our best to manage,I know it will be hard but love is never that easy
best wishes

You have found out? Well that's no good is it. He's obviously not thought about your feelings if you've just found out. That's awful. I've been in that situation before and i told him to do what he wants. At the end of the day, nobody can tell you what to do, as much as you may love the guy. You have to take that risk for yourself hun.

If there's no way you can go and you think you can last, give it a go. Whats to lose??
You've been together for 2 years already so you must have a strong relationship so you may be able to last this out.
Good Luck

Awwww poor you.....
I think you should definatley let him go otherwise you will regret it.......
I think you should go with him but if that is not possible then stay together.......
A lot of long-term relationships work you just have to make it.....
He can come over and visit you or you can go and visit him at the weekends or when you both have time off....
I think you just need to trust your guy not to cheat and let him go and keep things alive so he doesnt get bored and stray....
Hope it all goes well =))

Why didn't he tell you b4? Okay long distance relationships could work but can be costly both to ur pockets and emotions. Well see how it goes, after a while it might just die or something unless he is planning to come back to UK soon.

Ow...that's hurt my friend but I think you better talk it seriously coz breaking up its not a solution. You been for 2 years already, but if that sacrifice is for good, Why not to try it. If you settle things properly though it will be in long distance relationship its still work, as long as you know that deep in your heart you love each other, notthing is impossible. So go for what heart shout for. Good luck!!!!!

yes this is sad but think you have been together for 2 years it is not worth the seporation of 18 months if you really love him you will know what to do....you could always email him or send him letters.

trust me long distance relationships don't work especially when you have the pressure of univ. as well as the distraction of the social network. tell him if he wants you he stays home if he leaves he may just as well stay gone.
