Generally Juxtaposition may refer to:

Random juxtaposition, two random objects moving in parallel, a technique intended to stimulate creativity
Juxtaposition Arts, a youth oriented visual art center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States

That is you should specify your question.
But if you mean the one of the above mentioned, it is as follows:
Random juxtaposition refers to the stimulation of creativity in problem solving, design or other creative pursuit by confronting two unrelated concepts or objects, usually the goal or problem to be solved on the one hand and a randomly selected object or concept on the other.

Juxtaposition In Art

You could say that it was a juxtaposition but it wouldn't be the first thing of which I would think if you asked me to give you a juxtaposition. What might immediately spring to mind would be extremely sad lyrics about death or the demise of a relationship being set to an uptempo, house-type beat.

It means putting two or more ideas, visuals, or words together. Contrast may be the goal of the juxtaposition, but not always. Often, it is the pursuit of a more complicated idea just by putting the two things in close proximity. A simple example -think of a clock and what it symbolizes. Now think of how the meaning of the clock is changed if its next to money. Or next to a woman's midsection. Or a nuclear explosion... etc etc etc.

Also let it be known that is one of the words that is notorious for showing up in dense, nasty postmodernist thesis written by MFA's and the like. Also see Pastiche, Cosmeticized, Foucauldian ... :-O

Change Places

Putting things next to each other, things possibly including ideas or concepts. Usually for comparison or contrast, but not necessarily. You might juxtapose a sweet wine with a salad, for example, and that would be crazy to a French waiter.

Juxtapostion is a word that deserves a tick from Mr B.
It means placing two words that are completely opposite in a sentence.
