You really know me and my life, I've recently moved out of the house I thought I would live in for the rest of my life.

i did with the first husband . that was why I was so hesitant to buy one with the second husband and I told him my fears . He said stop taking old memories into a new house . I think things happen for a reason . In other words I had to go through the first marriage and loose my house in order to be happy with the 2nd husband and house . That is how I look at it . good luck and god bless.

I moved 2 years ago because the neighborhood changed because so many people were renting their houses and the people that rented were not keeping up the homes and crime increased. We were in that house for 18 years and would not have moved except for the change in the neighborhood.

My family is an Army family and we travel every couple of years, so we know for a fact that we will be moving. We usually rent but after this stent out here in washington for four years we will be going to another state for seven years or so, we plan to buy then. I'de like to stay in one spot for awhile instead of moving constantly. Good luck

Yep it was my dream house and I had visions of growing old in it....but now it is up for sale coz my selfish b******d of a husband is continuing to have an affair with his tart and I am bringing our newborn baby up on my own - I thought that it was an investment for our little daughter's future but he just wants it sold. The whole situation is so heartbreaking! But hopefully better things are in the future.

No "D", we have always had a "plan" on how long we would stay in a particular house, though sometimes we have stayed longer. Up till now, Mrs GB is still with me, so I don't quite know how long we will stay at Greybeard Towers, we'll have to wait and see!

I bought a house and the only thing that changed was that the ex thought he was gonna get it in the divorce and I got it.
