I can hardly believe it's almost 2008. When I look myself back in 1992, when I was 8 years I have auburn hair pulled in ponytail and I wore nothing but dresses. I hardly knew anything about the world and back then my country's population was only 25 million. Now almost 16 years later, my hair is blonde and cut into a short shaggy cut, and I wear pants and my country population's has grown to be
33,128,519. So many things have changed in the past 15 or 16 years yet are we still the same people? Underneath the blonde hair and my new tattoo am I still the little girl that I was back in 1992?

I'm a lot older than you, and I've changed considerably through the years, but I am still the same person.

In 1992 I was a mere 51, and I still had a lot of brown hair (and a lot more hair than I have now.)

I think I'm a better person than I was 40 or so years ago, but that comes with experience and maturity, and I hope I've gotten a good balance of both of these. I've certainly had the experience. I hope I got the maturity that goes with it.

That little girl still lives inside you. Don't be afraid to let her out once in a while.

There is a great physical change. But today my mental clarity is beyond my comprehension of 1992. My age is certainly a great change.

I never spoke to a girl in 1992. Now many of collegues are girls or married women. So course of life has changed.

Was an aspiring student in 1992, but an aspiring professional now.

I hope I am not the same person.I hope I have grown in understanding, compassion, wisdom etc.as I have aged. The grey hairs I have earned through trials and tribulations I have had to overcome.I hope the wrinkles are from both laughter and tears. You can't appreciate the good times unless you have been through some bad times. But as the old saying goes--There may be winter in my hair, but there is summer in my heart.--I am still in some ways the young woman I used to be--searching, exploring, trying new things,wide-eyed,and excited about what is going on in this world.
