How much more Chicken Little soup can we continue to swallow?

"I joined the Cabinet meeting when the president laid down the law and went to each Cabinet department and set in motion efforts to make sure that every Cabinet member understands that this (Y2K) is priority No. 1," Gore said.

Y2k was a 300 billion dollar boondoggle, I can't believe there is still a single Y2K witchdoctor willing to embarrass themsleves by coming forward in defense of all the hoopla. Pathetic.

I agree that Al Gore just has his own agenda; I can't wait to find out what it really is.

Yes, I remember all of the blunders of Al Gore.

It tickles me that so many Democrats and Liberals accuse the Republicans of being fear mongers when Gore is running around trying to do nothing but instill fear into the world. If he were really concerned about Global Warming and the carbon footprints of man he would stop jetting across the world to prove his inaccurate point.

Do you think the Y2K bug was a hoax?

It was very real, and could have been disastorous. Millions of people worked there butts off for close to ten years or so to correct the problem. Luckily they got it done.

"We must ensure that the international system is ready for the year 2000 — because one weak link in the system will hurt us all," - Al Gore

Seriously find me a legitimate article from a reputable source prior to Jan of 2000, that states the Y2K crisis was not real.

Alarmist Al stands to make millions selling carbon footprint credits if he can get enough suckers to buy this garbage. General Electric has invested heavily in and stands to make hundred of billions if he somehow gets the laws passed.

The more I read and listen to others, the more I am convinced that VP Gore doesn't have a clue as to what he is talking about.
Sorry, no offense to anyone, but when the founder of the Weather channel doesn't buy it, why should someone like me?

Al Gore is only relevant when he talks about Global warming. In all other instances, please disregard him.
