When I was a child, I wasn't bothered with aging or dying...I simply didn't understand EITHER...

When I was at puberty, I wanted to grow up very fast and be THERE; dying still wasn't an issue at all...

When I reached adulthood, I was simply HIGH on life...just danced through the years as if mesmerized; dying couldn't have harmed me then...I would have danced my way through to the other side and not realise...

When I attained motherhood, I had no time to think about aging; dying STARTED to worry me...what will happen to my young ones if I died? What will happen to me if THEY died?

NOW, that I've seen LIFE and experienced DEATH of a few, closest to me, I worry about NEITHER...

I think I have made a very smooth transition. Aging still doesn't bother me...(maybe because I'm physically healthy and active); I've overcome my fear of dying as my children grew up fine, (and I've someone waiting for me in Heaven!!!)

Life's good...It can end whenever it decides to...I'm ready...I'm once again the little girl I always hid INSIDE!!!

Actually worry very little about either-aging is going to happen and if the only thing you are discussing is the appearance as you age, many people get more attractive in ways as they age. Dying is inevitable and is going to happen; more concerned about how then to the occurrence. I think the time of death is predestined and your choices in life lead to where, why and how. I know how I wold prefer to go but don't control that. No don't worry about either of those since both will happen-aging can be stopped but really only by dying.

I have no worries about either one, as I age I get wiser for I learn something new each and everyday. As for dying that is something that will happen and it is a part of life that will never end. I am not afraid of aging nor am I afraid I dying.

Aging - yeah (don't mind getting older, tho' - there's a lot of benefits and I'm trying to hold it together for as long as poss - haven't smoked for 30 years - WILL restart gym soon)

Dying's OK - only I don't want to be there when it happens (and hope I don't have a problem leaving)

I've just turned 17 too, btw (well sort of - but the digits are just turned in the reverse order in my case) so my answer is from the heart.

my mind will probably change as i start aging more...but it think i'm more worried about aging.

not because of my childhood being taken away...being that it already is, but because dying isn't really....anything you can experience. i mean, yes, i'd feel completley empty if i died wtihout saying good-bye, but tis' not something you can alter by choice.

when you age, you can experience everything that comes along. new responsibilites, experiencing other peoples' deaths...to me, aging is a very less extreme way of dying while living.

...i think i'm getting a bit vague...but basically.

i'm more worried about aging, because as you age, you can experience things at a rate you can't control, but with death....it's something you can't choose (excluding suicide), can't change, can't experience. so why waste life worrying over death?

i'm still not getting my point through...i guess that's the best i cna explain

I am already aging, (Thank you for pouring salt in that festering wound.: )) I am also dying. I just don't know when or how soon. I don't worry so much about either. I don't think I have the time to. I can't change either so i just accept both. They are my companions in life and I see them often, especially with others.

Neither. To Age and to Die are fine.
More concerned with being sick, living in constant pain, and unable to function or get needed medical care. It is about losing ones quality of life when alive that is the curse, not aging or dying.

Not really worried about either...I have been aging since I was born...and not much I can do about dying...so why worry...

Not worried with aging and dying. Why should I? These two stages are bound to happen.. what iam afraid is getting older with nothing to be proud with in my life as well as to die leaving bad memories to others. Only memories remains!!!!

The only thing about dying i dislike is that i might not be able to do all that i want with my life. It's not necessarily that i'm scared of death.

i am scared of getting old, though. the idea that i won't be able to move how i want, and that the world will be an entirely different place etc, is a bit unsettling.
