No.

The Pacific campaign as a whole was primarily fought by US Marines on the ground, and the US Navy at sea through early 1944. British forces in the Pacific were primarily naval, with no ground troops. (Note that I do not refer to the Asian continent here.)

The battla of Iwo Jima was a US Marine operation, supported by the US Navy.

The Battle of Iwo Jima took place between the United States and Japan in February and March 1945 during the Pacific Campaign of World War II. The U.S. invasion, known as Operation Detachment, was charged with the mission of capturing the airfields on Iwo Jima.

The battle was marked by some of the fiercest fighting of the campaign. The Imperial Japanese Army positions on the island were heavily fortified, with vast bunkers, hidden artillery, and 18 kilometers (11 mi) of tunnels. The battle was the first American attack on the Japanese Home Islands and the Imperial soldiers defended their positions tenaciously. Of the 21,000 Japanese soldiers present at the beginning of the battle, over 20,000 were killed and only 216 taken prisoner.

Sadly, all ground forces were Americans as the British Forces were held up in the European sectors against Germany. There are some reports where by the British Naval command worked along with the American Forces for the Battle of Iwo Jima, but it were at a marginal level that it was not recorded with the forces.

by May of 1945 the Royal Navy had transferred its aircraft carriers, with their supporting cruisers and destroyers and oilers and repair ships to the Pacific theater,a s they weren't needed against the Germans.....but these ships were mostly used against the Japs in the former British colonies of Malaya, Singapore and Hong Kong.....they did help in the Okinawa campaign but weren't at Iwo Jima...that was the United States Navy and Marines where " uncommon valor was a common virtue"

I believe there was a Royal Navy group fighting with the Americans in the Pacific at this time. I don't believe they were involved in the support operations (bombardment) of Iwo, but it's possible.

Ashore on the island, nobody but Americans, as far as I know.

No, only USMC (with Naval Corpsmen) and a smaller U.S. Army element were the only allies facing the Japanese there. All Americans.
