in the philippines, we do not have libraries with online subscriptions. care to share your school's log in information? =)

Well, if it's for academic use, your school probably subscribes to databases like lexis/nexis and EBSCOHOST. You shuld be able to log on through the library's website.

If you're not a student, try going to a college library to use their computers. You can usually get to the databases there.

Also, if you're friends with a college student, ask them to use their remote access password for the databases off campus. That's what I did after I left school if i didn't want to drive all the way to the library.

Journals like that make all of their money from subscriptions, which is why their sites are password protected. Realize that everyone only uses them for academic purposes, so that won't help you. If your library has a subscription, you can get into them because the library has paid the fees, but usually you would look for specific articles on a database, rather than at the entire journal online.

You can get a username from http://www.myelibrary.net ,just should pay a little you can get what you need. And I think it's much better than free elibrary.
