Not to be rude or anything, but the future doesn't seem to be all that great for Israel? How do you think Israel will be destroyed or do you think the Palestinians will eventually just outnumber the Jews and take their land back democratically?

maybe the word democratically wasn't the best way to put it. Sorry about that. Anyways, do you believe that eventually the Palestinians will outnumber the Jews within Israel/Palestine. This is theory, in a democratic society, would allow them to vote against a Jewish government and instead replace it with a Palestinian government. Basically, the power would shift.

And yes, they did have a homeland, they were nomadic people for a long time but in the early 1900s they did have a true homeland.

Also, I guess what you would call a homeland, not really sure if they stayed in Palestine throughout their existence, but the Philistines had a very strong government during the biblical age until being challenged by the Jews. The Jews were almost wiped out by many large empires including the Babylonians, the Assyrians and the Romans.

In fact, before the British promised the Jewish people the land of Israel, they had promised the Arabs the land of Palestine around the time of WWI.

For a country that didn't exist until the mid 1900's when the Jewish people came back to a land and took it back, I would say that Israel is probably not going any where any time soon. If you read history, Israel didn't just have a war with a few small countries but basically took on most of the entire middle east including Egypt. I would be more worried about the nations that think that Israel will be defeated like Iran and Palestine.

Is your question a wish, a prophecy, hope and/or dream?
Of course, there is no question of rudeness here, but your perception is obvious to me.
Israel will never be destroyed - the land of Israel will always exist and we, Jews will live in our homeland forever.
It is not the Palestinians homeland - Israel is the historic, legitimate and religious homeland of the Jews. I don't think the Palestinians can take back land that never belonged to them in the first place. It's true they lived there (not as owners of the land), but the Jews have been there longer and even when they were conquered and forced to leave their beloved homeland, Israel - Jews always maintained a presence there.

For starters, the current day Palestinians are of the ethnicity of Arabs. There is no connection between them and the ancient Philistines. I'm sorry, but this is something that has only been relatively recently claimed by some to use as a "we've been here for a very long time" argument.
The reality is that a majority of Arabs who live in Israel or the West Bank and Gaza only have roots going back at most to the 19th century in that area.
Those who have roots that go back a longer time, there is no evidence that it goes back 1000s of years. At most I would agree that it would probably go back 500 years.
Now, as for your question, I think that Israel's position is still quite secure and will remain so for the near future. Unfortunately, I think that the current course of action (started back in 1993 and continuing today) is not going to lead to peace but to more war.

"think the Palestinians will ...... take their land back democratically"
You really need to read history a little better, Palestinians never had a home land, they have always be nomadic and from different countries.
Otherwise no, Isreal is not going awhere peacefully and quite, so if the real big war starts Palestine will be wiped off the map with anyone else near the base property.

You may not be aware, but 80% of the land of Palestine was given to (then) Transjordan in 1922 (implemented in 1923).
Israel is the sliver of land left.

Your later suggestion seems most likely or a less friendly situation where an apartheid system draws world outcry and eventual action to end the dream of Israel.

Since israel has come into exixtence so it is not possible for the arabs to destroy it now. Both should now learn to live as good neighbours by respecting the rights of each other. This is good for the region and peace.
