fake tree because there is less hassle cleaning up the pine needles and watering the damn tree plus if you have kids or animals you have to be care ful that the dog desn't piss on the real tree or the baby eatting the pine neddles of the floor
with a fake tree you just put it up and let it be and when xmas is over take it down 1-2-3 no mess and no hassle and you can save money because you don't have to out and buy a new tree every year and a fee to pick up the tree off your garbage

I'm not offended, many people wish to preserve the tradition - but I use fake so that I don't have to kill a new tree every year.
