It's my right ear....
Out of curiosity are you left handed? The only reason I ask is that I am right handed and find it almost impossible to hold the phone to my left ear.....strange, I know!

Most people do not hear all tones equally well in both ears. So, for most there is an ear that we hear the phone better from. For me it's the right.

On the rare occasion I talk on the phone at home, my right. At work I have a headset that covers both ears.

It's always my right. I feel odd when it's on my left. Maybe because I'm right handed, but I don't know if that's the only reason.
