What, to you, is a pervert ?

Frequently I see [ on here ] people being called a pervert for, watching porn, masturbating [ not always at the same time ! ], finding teen girls attractive ,visiting strip-clubs, etc. etc. To me these behaviours are 'normal' and perverted is 'abnormal'. Are some people just too moralistic and uptight, judgemental ?

Note to sparkle a] I have no wife or mom , both died several years ago b] Porn, my wife watched porn with me now and again, was she a 'pervert' ? c] masturbation , even young babies get pleasureable feelings touching their genitals , are they perverts ? d] I said I find some teen girls attractive NOT that I 'watch' them [ I,m sure they are flattered, most dress to impress] e] strip-clubs are entertainment, one sees as much flesh on mainstream t.v./ movies ! funny how sanctimonious people like you never accept I.M. or E-Mail, would love to help you with yyour sexual hang-ups Cheers

What one deems as perverted is relevant to one's own moral beliefs. There is no bright line rule, or objective analysis of where the line is between normal and perverted. The analysis will always be subjective no matter what one says.

That is all normal, it's how the person talks or goes about it that decides where the line is crossed. I would call someone a pervert if they say something crude to me on the street because it is disrespectful and unwanted, but a better word is pig. Also, I could understand being called that if they stray from primitive sexuality. Teen girls can be attractive, pre-teen girls without their curves, basically children.... that is perversion (based on more of a dictionary definition)... because men are supposed to like curves, a certain ratio in particular, for reproduction purposes. That is one example. Not that I would call someone a pervert because they are homosexual, thats different.

It just depends on how their sexuality is carried out.

Well there are all different ways to use this word. You could call someone a pervert for staring at your boobies or call them a perve for checkin out chickie babes (aka perving) OR the word 'perverted' can mean sick and twisted such as having perverse fantasies, beastiality, kiddie porn, hard core s&m etc

Absolutely, people are uptight! They judge people on things that they, themselves do, but don't tell anyone. A pervert to me is someone who acts more sexual than what is within one's comfort level with another person, if that makes any sense.

i think your right i mean if a guy is obsessed with a teenager then yea but if he walks past and is like in his head (she hot) then i dont think it matters, the strip clubs are there for people if it is a regular thing and he has an obsession with going then maybe, watching porn ect is normal and everyone does it once in there life!

Yes, i agree with you completely. It's all normal, if God didn't want us to have this feelings and urges he wouldn't have given them to us. You wouldn't think people would be so uptight and moralistic these days, but i think it's actually gotten worse.

Yes. A perversion, by definition, is an abnormality. There is nothing abnormal about the above behaviors, they are merely human nature.

2. molesting or rapeing his or her girlfriend
3. masturbating in public or in front of someone with them not likeing it
4.someone whom makes another person feel uncomfortable with the things that he or she is saying ..like perverted things
