Reign of fire as someone mentioned.
Dragonheart was a real good one (although the sequels stank)
Neverending story had a weird looking one.
Dungeons and Dragons, but the movie was stupid
Lord of the rings pt 2 and 3 have dragons
Eragon was a very recent one although that too was stupid

For me it's Eragon .. I liked that movie very much and the upcoming movie D-war (Dragon War). The story was based on the Korean legend, unknown creatures will return and devastate the planet. Reporter Ethan Kendrick is called in to investigate the matter, and he arrives at the conclusion that a girl, stricken with a mysterious illness, named Sarah is suppose to help him. The Imoogi makes its way to Los Angeles, wreaking havoc and destruction.. I saw the trailer and saw it very interesting.. though I hate snakes eww.. I'll watch this one..^_^

...having not been previously mentioned, we're forgetting about one of the best fantasy adventure films, to come out in the past 30 years or so, and one of the first films, dealing exclusively with dragons, whereby the production studio (...in this case, Disney) first experimented with digital effects, and melded them almost seamlessly with quite effective mechanical effects...
...that film would be the gripping and adventure-filled film, from 1981, called "Dragonslayer"...
