I mean, his numbers were terrible. This guy has not yet lived up to the expectations he had coming out of college and he's in his 4th season. Should they draft a QB, sign a QB, or trade for someone after the season? I know he is a decent player now, but I'm talking about the future. He doesn't have what it takes to lead his team anywhere in the playoffs.
I don't know how many more chances they will give him. What do you think?

Eli was drafted so high not because of skill but because of his last name. I personally think they should give the #2 QB Jared L. the nod. Hes big but he can play

Well, the pressure on this kid is tremendous. Everyone expects him at some time or another to turn into Peyton Manning. He has great potential, but if he doesn't live up to his name, then he is considered a failure. So will they give him more chances, probably. Can he become the leader everyone wants him to be, I think so. But one thing I do know, this kid is not Peyton, if people keep setting the bar that high then he will never be considered successful. He is playing like crap now, I just hope he improves so one day we can have an all Manning Super Bowl...Ha. And no, they wont get rid of him, most people are still eager to believe he is the future for the Giants, and any time he plays well, he keeps earning himself more chances with the team.

I think Eli Manning is good QB the thing is his WR's are catching the ball. They had 34 drop passes. Of course Eli Manning numbers are goin to be bad if his WR's are not catching the ball. I don't judge QB's by stats I judge QB's by wins and Eli Manning is rank 9th in the NFL in wins since he has been drafted. He has taken the Giants to the playoffs I mean what more do u want from the guy. He is still a young QB. Everybody wants to blame Eli Manning for everything he is not the reason they lost the game its his WR's who lost the game I mean really I know yall saw the play where Amani Toomer dropped a wide open pass. Eli Manning should not take blame for everything oh but since he a QB and he is playin in New York he is goin to take alot blame it shouldn't be that way.

If he performs properly, he's hyped up or have been given fortunate. while he has a nasty game all and sundry rushes on right here to bash him for not being like his brother. constructive, he's had a nasty day immediately, yet there are various communities interior the NFL that have a procedures worse in the back of center. They have too much invested in him. Not only money, but the whole San Diego issue...they need him to succeed.
They will fire Tom Coughlin and hire someone they think can come in and help Manning out.
They are not getting rid of Eli anytime soon, even though they should!

they need a quality coach, a better RB, and better management. Manning is fine, but he can only go so far without the coaching, etc. needed for a champoinship caliber team....hire Marty S or Cower for coach and watch a championship come NYs way in a couple seasons.

I will admit that he had a lot to live up to following in the shadow of his dad and brother. Eli is not a good quarterback though. He does not lead his team, he just blames them when things go bad. It is never his fault when they lose, it is always someone else not getting the job done.

They should trade him, I wouldnt put up with a crappy QB who thinks he is the best in the league cuz of his last name. He sucks. Period. GET RID OF HIM CUZ HES SLOWIN YA DOWN!

They should keep him, but my opinion must be biased cause I can't stand the Giants. I like it when they throw 5 ints a game.
