To avoid false negative pregnancy tests wait until it has been 35 days since the first day of your last period. Then you can take a pregnancy test with about 99% accuracy.
Good luck.

I fainted when I was about a week pregnant, and my mom made me do test that came out negative. Stupid me didn't think to do another one until 5 weeks after that...haha
False negative results are common if you're too early or you just have a lower HCG level. If you are convinced you're pregnant and still getting negatives call your doctor and request a blood test!
(My aunt got negative HPT results until she was 7 months...I have NO idea why! She thought it was really weird because she KNEW she was pregnant from the time she did the first test.)

i had about three negatives, then a week after my missed period i had a positive very strong line.
pregnancy tests will not show you are pregnant till there is enough hgc hormone which is normally detected around 12 - 14 days after conception or after a missed period.
