There have been eight King Edwards of England since the Norman conquest and three before that. All but two were married. I am sure one or two of them might have been jealous of their wives but it really didn't matter. Apart from the last two they could just have the person they thought their wife fancied put to death. Or, as in the case of Henry VIII, have the wife put to death.

How can we answer your homework when we have absolutely no idea which of nine King Edwards you are talking about.

Which King Edward, there have been eight in England and the UK. And before that there were several Edwards in Anglo-Saxon times. The most recent was Edward VIII who abdicated so he could marry a two-timed divorced woman with two living ex-husbands, which at that time was unacceptable to the Establishment.
