I think I shall use free paper ones from the petrol station (they owe us many more) and save on washing powder. Bwilliant plan.

Carol,
I guess it depends on where my hands got wet! ;-) If I'm in the kitchen, a dish towel hanging on the oven door will do just as well as, if not better, than a paper towel. I hate when I try to grab a paper towel & wet the entire roll trying to get a sheet off! Of course, if I'm in the bathroom, the towel hanging on the towel rack is the only proper thing to do (unless U R one of my kids, who tend to shake it off & then wipe their shirt)!!
Merry Christmas Carol -- Happy New Year too!!!

I have an old towel on the kitchen door to dry my hands on when I am cooking, and at other times.
