I know red is for love but that's about it. And how many stalks should I give her? Dont wanna give a whole bouquet tho, i do have a steady girlfriend.

Yellow is the colour for friendship. I wouldnt give a dozen roses, as thats what you usually give to someone who you are seeing, but maybe about 5? thats always sweet. Another thing that stands for friendship, are gerbera's. Maybe getting her a bunch of yellow and orange gerberas would be a nice touch? By the way, its very sweet of you, not many males give flowers these days! =]

if you go for roses, try yellow or pink. yellow roses represent friendship and pink ones represent appreciation. How about 3 of each? I think pink and yellow would look really pretty together and the colors could brighten up a winter day.
or you could get her half a dozen of her favorite flower...carnations, lilies,mums,etc, to make it more personal.

I would just skip the entire rose thing, its too..flirty.
no matter what color it is.
if she is a friend, haha give her a sweet card or a prank..something like that. maybe a candle or a mug with her name on it.
but if you INSIST on a rose then i would get her a yellow one.

yellow or even pink roses are nice. 6 is a nice number. not to big but not to small either.

try to find a flower that they love. a yellow rose is more for a mom.
