What do you mean by 'Beethoven songs'? The word 'song' in classical music refers to a poem (usually) set to music for a singer either with piano or orchestral accompaniment - not to everything a composer wrote.Beethoven wrote many such songs. He also wrote solo piano sonatas and 5 concertos for piano, one for violin and one for piano, violin and cello, all of which have solo pieces - at the end of the first and third movements of each is a 'cadenza' which is a solo episode in the larger work designed to show the virtuosity of the performer.

They are called "pieces" ...not songs.

Check out Beethoven's violin concerto.
