Using the pill and the condom is a good thing. You should take your pill on time. Low dose pills have to be taken on time, but there is usually a 2-3 hour window in which you are still safe. I don't like to mess around though and set my alarm for 6 AM everyday to remind me to take it.

The pill by itself with perfect use is 99% effective. With typical use its 97% effective. Using a condom, with spermicide no less, makes your odds of getting pregnant very very very low.

Generally if you skip a pill here and there it is not such a big deal, although would never suggest it. Using the pill and a condom is the best preventive that you can use. The pill alone is 99% affective, alas there is that 1%. As for how long it stays in you system for it really varies on the person. Some people fall right away while others can take up to a year even longer.

The pill is 99.7% effective if used correctly.
It's best to take your pill at the same time of day everyday.
Where you are using so many contraceptives I think its safe to say, that if you use them properlly; you'll be okay if you miss your pill by a few hours.

If you take it within an hour of the scheduled time you're not effecting your chances.

If you completely skip a day, you're supposed to use back up for 7 days.
