I love it.No matter what the Pats do all you anti Pats fans find something wrong with it.
Yes they are the best team this year!To all you other "fans" I didn't see your teams coming from behind against them to win.Win by 1 point or 45 it's still a W.
You all get upset if they win by a lot and say they ran up the score,if they win by 3 you say they aren't very good.
You all must have very unhappy lives.

This question gets asked at least twenty times a day, and I give the same answer. There simply is no way of telling several teams can be considered the best for their generation, the 72 dolphins, the 85 bears, the 88 9ers, the 66 packers, the 92 cowboys, the 96 broncos. The list goes on and on, and since there is simply no way for these teams to play each other it would be unfair to consider any team as the "Best all time" but so far this year the Patriots are the head and shoulders the best. But to be sure we have to wait until they win the SB.

They aren't even the best Patriot*** team. 2004 was better.
This team isn't impressive in either the running game or on defense, both of which were excellent in 2004.
Yesterday clearly demonstrated that they are not a weather team anymore. The passing game was completely shut out. The running game was mediocre, gaining only 132 yards on a team which surrenders 141 per game. The defense hasn't been terribly good all year long.
Playoff disaster just waiting to happen, especially if the weather is bad. Not the best team ever. Not even close.

How about history dude? They're not like the Red Wings or Pistons either that will choke in the playoffs despite having the best record. Either way, America will have a great time if some crap team knocks them off early in the playoffs. The Patriots seem to be the new Yankees or something.
Time to declare them the 2008 Superbowl champions, I guess?

They are definitely the best team to be around in the last couple of years, but you make it sound so easy to compare teams of different eras, and it's not. They may possibly be the best team ever, but that is not for certain. They have the best passing game, but not the best defense, so they are only #1 in one category. However, the 85 Bears were best in both running and defense. I will say I think the 07 Pats are the best Air It Out team ever, but the 85 Bears are by far the best Smash-mouth team ever. It is hard to compare 2 different style teams like that. However, the 07 Pats are definitely the one of the best ever. But naming the #1 team of all time is more of an opinioin thing.

They are a good team. But until they win the super bowl THIS year, they will not be great. I don't care if they win 16 games in the regular season. That will mean nothing if they lose the championship. The Packers could beat them. The Colts could beat them before they even make it there.
The Patriots are saying the right things. One game at a time.

Give me a Superbowl win and I will think about considering them one of the best ever. You can go 16-0 in the regular season in a weak division, but winning the Superbowl is a different ball game. Until they win it all, there is no reason to consider them the "best ever".

They are good but I dont know if they are the best. Yes they havent lost but they have come close and have you seen who they play? Not many teams with winning records (other than the colts and cowboys).

If you want to think that go right ahead but they are cheaters so I wouldnt say they are good I would say they suck the Green Bay Packers on the other hand are going to be the team to win the super bowl.
