I'd have to agree with you. He is obviously has something against Anarchists or doesn't know any better. (I sort of hope it's not the latter, because then, I'd be worried about what kind of people get hired to teach these days.
After all, anarchy is just the lack of a government, or rather, Anarchism is a philosophy that says it's better to go with out governments. There are too many schools of thoughts under this, so I wouldn't want to elaborate too much.
Anyway, there is absolutely no connection to anarchism and racism, and your teacher isn't doing a very good job of educating you.

Your teacher got it completely backwards.
Most anarchists today oppose racism, and consider racism a lie and a tool of the rulers. Many anarchists, even in the 19th century, in the United States, were involved in the abolitionist and the first postwar anti-racist movements.
I know that William Greene, Lysander Spooner, and Joseph Dejacques were involved in the abolitionist movement. I've heard different stories about Albert and Lucy Parsons. They weren't anarchists before the war. Supposedly Albert was a former Confederate soldier and Lucy was a former slave; they married after the war, fled to Chicago, where they got into labor unionism and anarchism.
Unfortunately, teachers can get away with slandering anarchists.

You're teacher should not be expressing opinions like that. It's like her/him saying Republicans (for mere example) are racist bigots. Your teacher is against anarchists, and should learn that, as a teacher, s/he could get fired for saying such things about a group of people with different beliefs.

There are people known as "National Anarchists". I don't know what they believe in specifically, but I know such a group/ideology exists
Perhaps your teacher thought these people were an accurate representation of all anarchists.
