Seriously, did her and Joseph just not have any free time?

Mary and Joseph weren't married yet when she became pregnant with Jesus, they were only engaged. That is why she was still a virgin at this point.

I know I'm going to get a ton of thumbs down for this, but the truth is that she did not remain a virgin for the rest of her life. After Jesus was born she and Joseph went on to have several other children (it is actually in the Bible).

More than likely Mary was not a virgin and was impregnated by Joseph prior to their marriage, but because of the stigma around such a copulation the whole "Mary was a virgin" thing was born. How can anyone even know she was a virgin? She was never tested to see if her hymen was still intact.

Because it wouldn't have been Gods son it would have been Josephs! she was given the "spirit" is the best way to put it. The Bible does say she went on to have children the natural way. Good luck. Hope this helps.

If there truly was a woman called Mary, who really was a virgin (and there is no reliable proof that either were true), that was her business. Today, it serves the cult that worships her well to look upon her as "pure" and that sex is in some way "dirty."

Because she did not have sex until after Jesus was born.

Also, she waited until she and Joseph were actually married. I know that does not happen too often any more, but it still does occasionally.

It's a matter of personal discipline.
