Hi, I'm moving to Cali next year, and I heard that basically everyone is Liberal, and was just wondering if this is true because I am pretty conservative. I don't mind it being mixed, because otherwise everyone would be the same and there would be nothing to debate about. But I'm worried now that I'll get over there and like everybody is going to be liberal and that they won't like anyone who isn't. Is this how it is?

I definitely don't pick my friends because of their political views, I guess I was just wanting to make sure I wouldn't be alone in my views and that everyone is friendly!

Depends on what part. Take northern CA, you got San Fransisco / Berkly...very liberal. Further down south Bakersfield, through Visailia Ca... very Red Neck. Southern CA, well mixed. California is much like all other states, you got the good with the bad. One piece of advice: If you are moving to Southern Ca, take heed. the freeway or expressway as some know it, is.... well, it's just insane. No other way to describe it. While driving, stay on your toes. You will see what I mean when you get there. Good Luck.

Ronald Reagan became right into a real conservative in each experience of the be conscious. each speech that I heard became into awe inspiring and infectious. He became into pleased with usa, defended her, and people observed this to be real. I even have purely considered one occasion that competitors Ronald Reagan's acceptance and that became into the 911 speech that George Bush in enormous apple floor 0. precise after that Bush's acceptance soared to ninety%. i'm from Massachusetts and that i will say without hesitation that liberals that I knew at that component extremely cherished Ronald Reagan. i assume it became into as a results of fact they knew that he became into actual. i will purely think of that an analogous became into real for the Southern States besides. Democrats for Reagan have been distinctive interior the 1980's. notice: Reagan became into governor of California before he ran for President. ultimately, Reagan became into working against Jimmy Carter who as you all understand, up til now, became into considered to be the worst president in US historical past.

No, it's mixed (even though the state as a whole tends to vote Democrat)--not to worry. But if you prefer a conservative area, I think Orange Country is for you.

It really depends were in California, if you live some where like in Orange County the vast majority are conservetive, but if you move to somewhere like my city San Francisco.... Be ready for extrem radical liberals left and right.... San Francisco is the most liberal city in the U.S.. The head police commissioner is a transexual, the mayor has been involved in more scandals then Britney Spears and the U.S military is not welcomed there, recruiters physically get chased out by mobs of crazy liberals... You should be O.K, anywhere but in S.F California.

Only the big welfare socialist districts are communist... Frisco, LA, etc.

The rest of us natives, born here, are underground sleepers. The trick for you will be to put up with the BS, never let on that you're against the Establishment, and wait until the Socialist People's Republic of California goes bankrupt in about two or three years...

Me, I gave up hiring new employees and will close my business very soon. I'll either be a sleeper, or I'll crawl to Idaho.

Just the coastal urban areas. The communists have been strong there since the depression. If you are in one of those areas, as true with anyone that disagrees with liberals, you will have to play your cards tight or you will have a hard time doing some of the basics of life.
