The USA is down on itself again so we once again need a chearleader like former president Reagan for President. Someone totally negative like Hillary, Thompson, Paul, will just make a depressed nation more so. The world cannot afford to have a depressed USA.

Neither, because the two aren't exclusive. Either way, my vote goes to:
-decreased taxation
-fewer transfer payments
-decreased govt programs
-veto's dumb bills
But aside from the policy points, someone who is charismatic, in the real sense. Someone who will get us excited about being the Number One, Armed to the Teeth, Economy Dominating Superpower.
So far, I haven't seen anyone that fits my bill, though Ron Paul comes close policy wise. For the republicans: Ron Paul. For the Dems: Barack Obama.

You ask that as if the answers were mutually exclusive. Personally, I don't care whether he is particularly scientific or spiritual as long as he makes good policy choices. After all, I'm electing him to run the country, not a church or a research institute.
