It is fine. She is shutting her eyes because the bright sunlight is bothering her. Keep her out of it for her sake.

Your baby is 2 months old. She is just now getting used the the "outside world". The sun is going to bother her until she gets older. If she crys or seems to be in pain then i would seek a doctor's advice. But otherwise, use an infant carrier that has a canopy. That way you can keep an eye on the baby and she can open her eyes if she isn't taking a power nap.

Babies eyes are very sensitive. Have her wear sunglasses in bright sunlight, wear a hat, have her in shade... all important. My husband never wore sunglasses growing up and now has an eye condition where he has a covering growing over his eyeballs that he will have to have surgery to remove when it covers the iris (just a matter of time). Completely preventable with sunglasses.

Do you close your eyes in bright sun light? Don't forget your babies eyes are still very tender, you will probably notice them gulping as well when ever there is a slight breeze. It is nothing to be worried about. Just try and keep them out of it.

She is protecting her eyes, from going blind.
try to have a shade around her, and protect her from the bright sun. its nothing to be worried about, so long as you're doing your part and protecting her from the sun!

Babies have very thin eyelids. Even with her closing her eyes tighter she does not block out as much sun as we can with our adult eyelids. So put up a sun shade or a blanket and enjoy your day out!

no, but you can take her to doctor for a quick check up. I just asked a doctor about this situation. his answer was " some people are just really sensitive to the sun light."
