have a real hardship for you to answer i had to strokes last year from a birth defect and am on disability nowget only $1,000 bucks a month have credit card com. riding me when they will get there payment in full they want me to sell house but am maxed out in equidy so if i sell my house the bank gets all the money from house my wife applied for disability and they denied her i would apeal it but she doesnt have enough credits for working and i make to much money for her to claim ssi need answers that are realistic am at end of rope you can email me direct at kathy_patton@sbcglobal.net or answer on here

there would be no money left over if house woiuld be sold not 1 dollar need practical solutions

Talk to a credit councillor.
They are located at most large accounting firms, as well as some government agencies.
They can usually get the creditors to stop the interest and take a payment plan. No one gains in a bankruptcy, and the creditors will know that.

yes i understand if you sell the house you will just break even but if you could find a cheaper place to rent you might be better since you would be losing you house payment and the equity loan payment -- than what eve is left you could pay to reduce you credit card bills!!!!

talk to a bankruptsy attorney, for people like you it is not a bad thing. Yours is medical, not over-spending like a lot of people. you will feel much better when the load is lifted and may even avoid a stroke or heart problems caused by all the stress you are now under.
