I m shocked that I even stumbled upon this... who knew somebody ought to hate individuals lots as to criticize their language use. in the beginning, each subculture and u . s . has its very own quirky tweaks and unusual sayings. individuals weren t the 1st to apply slang words, nor are they the only ones that still do. You fail to realize that individuals think of calling the washing room "the bathroom" is in simple terms as incorrect: loos additionally incorporate sinks, not basically lavatories. Secondly, have faith it or not, individuals can use superb language. i'm able to correctly prepare their, there, and that they re to sentences. i comprehend the adaptation between using your and you re. have faith me, we (individuals) get in simple terms as aggravated whilst somebody makes use of those interior the incorrect way. So earlier you get on your severe horse and sound like a bigot, comprehend that out of over the 317 million individuals, some are absolute to be idiots.

No, I don't like to do that. Sometimes I do though because I'm in a rush or something like that, but I try not to. I personally think that it makes you sound unintelligent because it seems like you can't even speak English correctly. That's why I don't use cuss words either. There are better words out there to say.

Thoroughly.
Of course, if you know why english is being used the way it is in the vernacular you'd understand that it's only the natural course of linguistic evolution. But then you'd have to be a philologist.
Now, a question for you: can something as abstract as language be misused?

English is too hard of a language to actually get the correct grammar. Even the most intelligent English teachers argue about the nit-picky stuff. How are we supposed to use it correctly?

I've got a degree in English -- I've had to do it right for so long that I've earned the right to butcher the heck out of it! BUT, it's only okay to do it "wrong" if you know how to do it right first.
Have a great night!

No, being a cultivated person I like to always use correct grammar.
I would imagine that being an American, you would have to enjoy it, otherwise everyone in the US would be miserable all the time...
only kidding!

yes.
the sole point of language is to express oneself*, and if for that reason i need to "abuse the English language", then i won't hesitate to do so.
*it doesn't exist so that pretentious assholes can rag on others for being "illiterate". its so that we can communicate with each other. if someone thinks being able to talk like a harvard english professor makes him smarter than me, then HE is the stupid one.
