i created a name using the letters of my five best friends' names
does this name sound alrite??
JAQHELYNN
pronounced: Jack-Helen

i thought that when i have a child (and if a girl..lol)
i'll call her jaqhelynn-rose, but her nickname be rose and enroll her at school as Rose. I know that two of my friends has two names. one friend has her birth name then a different name that is on the rest of her documents(the same for her sisters) and my other friend has her chinese name and the name she chose when she came to aust. although we all call her by her chinese name :D lol. and they dont have trouble with their names

i conbinde the names :
Julia
Hayley
Laura
Qi Qi/Rose
Jessalynn

wat does everyone think about the name???

its alot easier then using all their names as middle names lol :)

I like it. I think its very good when you combine names to make one name for your child. That is interesting and very nice and works out good.

I see a problem with her learning to spell it, and having it mispronounced regularly... but, since you are going to be calling her Rose, that's easy enough for everyone. When They want a name, she could just print J. Rose for most purposes. By the time she's old enough to be filling out legal documents, turning J. Rose to Jaqhelynn Rose shouldn't be that hard. As the world gets smaller and the population gets bigger, we are going to have to become more original naming our babies, lest they become known by their SS #s!

Jacqueline ("jackul-in" or "jack-lin") is beautiful and sophisticated. Jacquelyn is nice too.

However, Jaqhelynn looks awful. Trust me, you may think it looks "neat" now, but it won't be when your child is older. Jaqhelynn is just too kre8iv and 'trendified'. Don't do that to your poor kid...

(By the way, how did you get Jaqhelynn out of Julia, Hayley, Laura, Rose, and Jessalynn?)

I think it's a neat name, however...

I think it'd be really difficult for her to learn to spell, and I think she'd have to deal with people always mispronouncing it. Plus, having two names - a legal name and a use-name - can become a major hassle once you're grown up, when things like jobs want your legal name and then start calling for references who have no idea who they're talking about.

No, it's a very bad idea. What a nightmare to spell and pronounce! I read it as Jacqueline. Stick to Jack for a boy and Helen for a girl.

I like the name. A lot of people will probably assume the H is silent though and pronounce it like Jacquelyn.

It pretty much sounds like Jacqueline to me. But if you want to honour your friends, more power to you.
